We are pleased to announce that policy comms specialist Charlotte Matthysen will be joining the team from the American Chamber of Commerce to the EU (AmCham EU) on November 26.

“We have recruited Charlotte to keep pace with expanding needs of new and existing clients. I’m delighted to welcome her on board as a consultant with EU expertise and an international mindset who will span the policy and comms requirements of our growing client list,” Cambre CEO Victoria Main said.

Charlotte will work across several sectors, including external relations and trade, and tech.

At AmCham EU, Charlotte has been advising on relations with EU Institutions as well as coordinating high-level engagement for European CEOs.

Previously, she worked at the German Marshall Fund of the United States, where she focused on transatlantic policy priorities, particularly economic and digital, as well as being the one of the driving forces behind the Brussels Forum.

Charlotte holds an MA in International and European Law from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, and an LLM postgraduate degree in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law School, Washington D.C.

A Belgian national, she is fluent in English, French and Dutch, and has good command of German and Italian.
