SEC Newgate EU is a Brussels-based advocacy and communications consultancy with global reach as part of the award-winning SEC Newgate Group.
We are looking for a talented trainee with an understanding of the power of digital advocacy to be part of our dedicated communications teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help implement digital and integrated communications plans across different policy areas, including chemicals, sustainability and mobility;
- Support creative PR campaigns in line with client’s objectives;
- Set up, maintain and enhance social and digital channels – including preparing editorial calendars, community management, digital organic and paid campaigns;
- Draft quality materials including newsletters, speaking points and toolkits;
- Conduct research and monitoring to support effective communications and business development, including the management and monitoring and reporting tools;
- Support in the organisation of events and marketing activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- A university degree in communication, public relations, or journalism;
- Ideally some design, filming and video editing skills;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English;
- Excellent digital skills and robust knowledge of social networks;
- Some previous professional communications experience is a plus;
- An understanding of the European public relations and digital landscape;
- Excellent computer skills and a basic understanding of photo and digital editing tools (e.g. Adobe Suite, Canva);
- Good organisational and project management skills;
- Self-starter, being able to work autonomously and in teams, with flexibility, in a fast-paced environment.
